Infection Control Breach at Stittsville Medical Clinic

Updated July 27 2018 – Numerous  Ottawa families were shocked to receive a letter from the Main Street Family Medical Centre this week advising that they had been possibly  exposed to unclean instruments at the clinic. Over 4600 patients may have been affected and have been asked to return to the clinic to undergo testing for HIV and Hepatitis among  other illnesses.

Such a breach of infection and control protocols may well cause an unknown infection that could change a person’s life. Patients of all ages, including the elderly and children, have been notified.
