Kenneth Ciupka, B.A., J.D.

Kenneth graduated from Algoma University in 2016, having earned his Bachelor of Arts cum laude. He received his Juris Doctor from Lakehead University’s Bora Laskin Faculty of Law in May 2019.

Kenneth joined Girones Lawyers as a summer student in 2018, completed the practical component of his licensing requirements under the mentorship of Girones Lawyers’ Jay Meunier, and returned to the firm as an associate following his call to the bar in September 2019.

After having been in a serious motor vehicle collision in 2009, Kenneth’s inspiration to pursue a career in law arose from the barriers he encountered when attempting to access the medical and rehabilitation benefits his insurer was obliged to fund. Kenneth’s greatest motivation to practise law was derived from a desire to advance the position of those experiencing such grave vulnerabilities.

In recognizing the power discrepancies between a client and their insurer or employer, and the volatility inherent to many family law situations, Kenneth’s aspiration is to implement compassion and efficiency in the provision of effective advocacy.

Kenneth’s practice focuses on plaintiff personal injury matters, insurance litigation, employment and family law.
