Client lost a leg after an accident on her motorcycle in her own backyard. No other vehicles were involved in the incident. Client consulted us and was surprised that she could get a new home built to accommodate her injury, paid by her own insurance company on the motorcycle. Client is in the process of constructing a custom designed home to help her with her disability and her changing life. Client received many other benefits, such as income replacement benefits, attendant care, health benefits, etc. Additionally, client is suing doctor who was not able to save her leg at the hospital for malpractice. A resolution to a $10,000,000.00 settlement is expected shortly.
