Wrongful dismissal where employer alleged that the employee committed serious safety infractions

The defendant, a large mining corporation, fired an employee, alleging that the employee committed several serious safety violations. Mr. Bourdon and dissected every single alleged violation and was able to prove that either the employee did not commit any of them or that the employees actions were not, in fact, violations at all. Despite the fact that the alleged infractions were extremely serious, Mr. Bourdon was able to negotiate a settlement worth more than $65,000.
